Pulled out about 9:30 from Wallace Idaho headed to Livingston Montana! Betty was great and we had no weather or any issues woohoo! Arrived at Osen’s RV Park which we recommend and got set up easily. My buddy Lisa and her husband were there so it was a nice reunion. We went for a good Mexican dinner in Livingston at Los Pinos and went back and had a glass of wine and went to bed early to get up and head to Yellowstone!
It was supposed to be a cold night with 30 as a low. Well at 4 am when we woke up it was 24 on our app and we later learning it was actually 17 degrees. Joel got up and unhooked our water and we got up at 7 to a frozen winter wonderland. Really wanted a shower when we got up but the pipes were frozen so I opted for the Rv park showers. First time using the facilities and it was a decent experience. Sure beat no shower at all!
We dressed warm but were expecting 60 in the afternoon. Headed out after a coffee for the North entrance of Yellowstone. No Traffic! Amazing to see no cars and no people in the park. We sailed down to Old Faithful and then worked our way back. Amazing to finally see it after all of these years. I did take real camera pictures that I have not seen yet and will post them if they turned out.

We made dinner and ate outside at the picnic table. BBQ’ed a steak and made a baked potato and a Caesar salad. Had a great time and hit the sack early to get up and head to Deadwood. We planned a 6 hour drive or so which hasn’t worked out yet. Next up Livingston to Deadwood 😩
