After our little scare with Betty we were delighted to arrive in Wallace. The RV Park is right in town so super convenient and the staff was amazing. We backed in for the first time 😂. Joel did great. Got the trailer set and opened the slide and had a feeling🙈 went outside to see the water pouring out of the pipe that the slide broke. Hurried to close the water and went to the office to report my error lol. They were great but we had to move to the spot next to us. 2nd back in lol. Nit quite so smooth but we did it. Joel did with my directions. After all the days issues we met Ginger and had a great dinner at the Blackboard Cafe which we highly recommend. Ate a great dinner and went back and drank wine in The Frey.

Day 2 in Wallace we slept in and enjoyed the morning. Then we headed out to visit the old cemetery and go on the Sierra Silver Mine tour. I still haven’t uploaded pictures from my camera but I will maybe tomorrow. The old guy in the pictures “Fast Eddie” actually worked in this mine for years so it was great to hear his stories.

Met Ginger for a great lunch at The Fainting Goat restaurant. Great food. Ok wine – I left them with my old business card and told them they should carry Hedges. We will see if I made a sale lol! Went back to take Finn for a walk then went to the local Brewery in our RV Parking lot – City Limits Pub and Grill – to try the beer and retired to our spot for a camp fire.
Woke up Friday am and packed up and hit the road about 8:45 headed for Livingston Montana. Next up! Yellowstone!
