Had 10 fun, Family filled days in Oklahoma.

Went to Oklahoma to visit family and that’s what we did. Hung out with Joel’s clan. We stayed at the Choctaw KOA which is pretty close to Joels Dad and his sisters. Faith and Dennis live about 10 minutes way and we got to spend lot’s of time with them. They had us over for dinner and we had them over for dinner too. Hope came all of the way from Las Vegas with her grandson Preston and we had a really fun time hanging with him. What a sweetheart he is! He loved Finn big time and Finn loved him back. The first picture was of Preston singing to Finn lol. They all got a tour of the Frey.

We had a super visit with Joel’s youngest daughter Olivia. So great to see her. She came for dinner and was our first over night guest. She gave the pull out bed a thumbs up.

The KOA was nice and get’s a thumbs up from us. When we go back we will stay there again. We had a nice site, a fire pit, the owners were great, nice pool, a large fenced dog park, great laundry facilities, and it was nice and quiet. I am getting used to doing laundry in these KOA’s because it is pretty convenient. $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Here is our site.

Little side note. A trailer arrived and installed in the space in front of us. It was hard not to notice the amount of stuff they were pulling out of their trailer. They were traveling with 7 kids! the brought bikes for each, chairs, toys, a tent, a carpet, an d the list goes on. I can’t even imagine how they all sleep in their trailer. Their trailer is smaller than ours. The picture doesn’t begin to capture their reality lol but I didn’t want to be rude lol. It was quite a site. Brave parents!

We loaded in 90 degree heat, took showers, and hit the road for Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas. We left about 11 and had a 3 1/2 hour drive or so. Betty was ready.
Next episode is the short but interesting drive.
